For years I wanted a Birkin. Not for the logo: for the shape. That handle, that flap, the way it sits on your arm.

But I also wanted a bag that made me smile on a grey Tuesday, and a stiff leather box never did. So I started drawing. A Birkin, but soft. Then one with feet, so he could stand on his own. Then I gave him a face, and that was it: he wasn't a bag any more. He was someone.
